Cinematographer and camera operator, graduated from EICTV (Escuela Internacional de Cine y Televisión – Cuba). Has also attended the Global Cinematography Institute in Los Angeles.
Started working on short-films in 2004 as a director of photography, followed by TV Series and features.
Has worked in Brazil, USA, Costa Rica, Bulgaria, among other countries. Speaks Portuguese, English, Spanish fluently.
Most recent narrative projects include the Netflix original feature “Just Another Christmas”, the TV series “Call Me Bruna (Llámame Bruna)” for Fox Channel – nominated for the ABC Award (Brazilian Society of Cinematographers) and the feature “El Baile de la Gacela (Gazelle’s Dance)”, screened at Montreal Film Festival (Films du Monde) and winner of the “First Feature” Award.
Recent documentary projects:
The feature “Por onde anda Makunaima?”, winner of the Best Film Award at the Brasilia Film Festival 2020 and “Boa Noite”, which premiered at ‘It’s All True Film Festival” competition. (É Tudo Verdade – 2020).
Formats used vary from 35mm film to high-end digital technology (Alexa, Red, Sony, etc).
